The Chatham Island Tui (Prosthemadera novaeseelandiae chatamensis) is a threatened subspecies of the New Zealand mainland Tui. A wonderful and unique bird.

This artwork was created using an acrylic wash technique, similar to watercolors, but produces more bold colors.

My goal of this artwork is to bring out the soul and spirit of each bird and animal I create.
